Welcome Back: Site Anniversary - Three Years of Writing About Video Games

IV

Firstly, if you’re new here, welcome to my video game blog. I started this when I was in my last half of college for writing classes. I’ve now graduated college and received my diploma in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. I’ve continued to write about the development, history, and impact of video games. I’ve managed to cover some of my favorite games while also talking about impactful games that went under the radar. There are so many games today that it’s impossible for everyone to play everything. The major games get constant media coverage but sometimes the hidden gems go unnoticed to the general gaming audience. These are the games that I like to talk about due to being overlooked but still great in their own way.

Thank you to all my friends and family for your support. This wouldn’t be possible without you. It’s nice to see an idea in my head fully realized into an article or video, and it’s great to see people connect with these ideas. I talk about these games not only because they impacted the industry but because they impacted millions of people across the world. A lot of people feel similar things when they play video games — whether it’s joy, escapism, or nostalgia, we’ve all been impacted by a piece of media over the course of our lives.
